Day 1: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat
Pick up from hotel by private car/minivan. Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom – walk around and take photos.Explore Bayon Temple, famous for its many serene stone faces.Continue to see Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Elephants.Visit Ta Prohm (the “Tomb Raider Temple”), overgrown with jungle.Lunch at a local restaurant.In the afternoon, explore the majestic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world.Return to hotel and relax in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Banteay Srei & Phnom Kulen
Drive by Private vehicle to Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women,” built from pink sandstone. Continue to Phnom Kulen (Kulen Mountain) – enjoy hilltop views. Visit the reclining Buddha statue and refresh at the waterfall. Lunch at a local restaurant See the famous riverbed carvings (likely Kbal Spean) and the sacred spring. Prepare for an overnight local camping experience. Enjoy a traditional dinner with a village family, followed by stargazing (weather permitting).
Day 3: Sacred Sites & Beng Mealea
Early visit to Wat Preah Kraal, a Buddhist monastery on a hilltop.Receive a traditional water blessing from a monk Visit Peung Tbal, natural sandstone carvings (10-minute walk required) Lunch with a local community Explore Beng Mealea Temple, a remote jungle temple discovered by the French in the 1860s.Return to Siem Reap and relax overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Departure
Free time in the morning at your hotel. Transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your departure flight. Farewell to Cambodia – until next time!
